Scope
This policy applies to goods purchased from Danyang Hengwei Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (Henvvei). Custom-made products and products supplied to your specific drawings are excluded from the right of return, except where the goods are defective.
Quality claims
Please inspect goods on arrival. Report damage, shortage or quality deviation in writing within 7 days of delivery, with photographs, video and the packing list. Claims notified later cannot be considered. Please note that normal manufacturing tolerance and batch-to-batch colour variation are not defects.
Warranty
Goods carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Covered defects include faulty workmanship, materials or assembly. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective goods. It does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, electrical or ballast fault, use of a wrong specification, unauthorised modification, normal wear, or handling after delivery.
How to claim
Send the original proforma invoice, photographs or video showing the defect, the packing list and a short description of the issue to the email address on our contact page. We will respond within 3 working days with a repair, replacement or credit proposal.
Return of defective goods
Where replacement is agreed, we will provide a return address and a commercial credit note. The buyer bears the cost of returning goods unless the defect is attributable to us. Returned goods must be in resalable condition and in their original packaging.
Refund for non-defective goods
Where goods are confirmed free of defects but you nevertheless wish to return them, we may, at our discretion, accept a return within 30 days of delivery provided the goods are unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition. In that case the buyer bears all return shipping and a handling charge of 10% of the invoice value may apply. Custom-made goods cannot be returned or refunded.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled without charge before production starts. After production starts, a cancellation fee of 30% of the order value applies, and goods already produced cannot be taken back.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are made by the same method as the original payment, or by bank transfer to your nominated account, within 15 working days of written agreement. Any bank charges are shared equally unless the original payment was made by bank transfer, in which case we bear the charges within China.
Shipping costs
Original outbound shipping is not refundable unless the goods are defective on arrival. Return and re-delivery shipping for warranty cases is arranged by us.
